LEGAL
Last updated: 2026. Draft — pending final review by qualified legal counsel before public launch.
InspectAura connects customers with independent, third-party inspectors ("Inspectors") who visit factories/warehouses to perform a visual quality-control check based on an agreed checklist, and who report their findings via photos, video, and a written summary. InspectAura is a facilitation platform — we are not the manufacturer, the factory, or a guarantor of the goods being inspected.
The inspection is a visual, point-in-time spot-check performed by an independent local inspector, not a certified quality engineer or laboratory test. It catches obvious, visible issues (wrong quantity, visible damage, mismatched packaging, basic function/drop-test failures) and is not a substitute for a full technical audit, lab testing, or compliance certification. For high-value, safety-critical, or regulated products, we recommend a certified third-party inspection firm in addition to, or instead of, this service.
We do our best to match you with a diligent Inspector and relay their findings accurately, but we do not guarantee the report is complete or error-free. Inspectors are independent contractors, solely responsible for the accuracy of what they report.
You are responsible for providing accurate factory/supplier contact details and for confirming the factory is expecting the inspector's visit. InspectAura is not liable for delays or failed visits caused by inaccurate information or a supplier declining access.
Fees are billed once per booking via PayPal at the time of booking. No recurring charges. See our Refund Policy for the specific circumstances under which a refund or re-inspection applies.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InspectAura's total liability for any claim relating to a booking — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise — is capped at the fee you paid for that specific inspection. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including lost profit, lost inventory value, or shipping delays.
Inspectors are independent contractors, not InspectAura employees. InspectAura is not liable for the acts or omissions of an Inspector beyond the limitation set out in Section 6.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
